'Hands On' service and a better deal - That's Kiwi Steel! |
 |
| 2007/10/08, 3260 Hits |

Kiwi Steel was founded in 1989 to meet a market need for a steel trading and merchant company that offered top quality products and superior customer service. That winning formula still applies today, only now Kiwi Steel has new plate processing technology to lift its service offering to a whole new plane.
Inside Kiwi Steel's 65,000 square foot warehousing and processing facility in Wiri, Auckland sits the company's latest acquisition – a Kinetic K4000 high definition plasma cutter and plate-processing machine.
This full bevel cutting machine means that Kiwi Steel now offers a unique added value service – specialising in the supply of finished products and ready to use parts.
¡°Increasingly there is a demand for a one stop service from customers,¡± says Kiwi Steel's processing manager Patrick Murray. ¡°The plasma cutter means we can now offer the total service, from purchasing the steel to delivering the finished product.¡±
The key point of difference with the K4000 says Murray, is the machine's ability to process cut thicker plate to an extremely high standard, complete with drilling and tapping. Kiwi Steel's core activity is the supply of product to manufacturers of household appliances, automotive products, building and civil engineering constructors.
Owned and operated by skilled steel industry professionals, Kiwi Steel has a wealth of knowledge and expertise. Sourcing only from mills that have a history of standing by their products' performance, Kiwi Steel places great emphasis on customer service. Most products are available ex-stock and lead times for indent orders, when required, are typically short.
